Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status
Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status is the second of 5 tiers in the Marriott Bonvoy program. Usually, it requires you to stay 25 nights per year to achieve this, but you’ll receive it as an automatic benefit of the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy card.
With it, you’ll receive perks like:
- 25% bonus points on stays
- Enhanced room upgrades (subject to availability)
- 2 p.m. late checkout (subject to availability)
- Points welcome bonus at check-in
15 Elite Night Credits
More on elite status, the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy card also offers 15 Elite Night Credits each year to help you reach higher levels of elite status faster.
For instance, Platinum Elite status, the next tier in the Marriott Bonvoy program, usually requires 50 nights each year, but thanks to the 15 Elite Night Credits from the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy card you’d need to just stay 35 nights in a year to qualify for Platinum Elite status.
1,000 Points Per Stay
Cardholders will receive 1,000 bonus points on each paid stay, on top of the stands points you’ll earn for being a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member and paying with your card.
This might not feel like a meaningful amount if you only book a few Marriott stays each year, but for those who stay at Marriott hotels often, these extra points can add up.
Free Night Award
While this is not an automatic benefit of the card, and requires spending $15,000 on the card in a year to receive, it can be a valuable perk for those who do.
The free night award can be redeemed at any Marriott hotel that costs up to 50,000 points per night, but Marriott allows you to top award certificates off with up to 15,000 points, allowing you to redeem for a free night at a more expensive hotel.
Card Protections
The Marriott Bonvoy Bevy card offers the following protections to cardholders:
