United is revamping its suite of onboard amenities — but don’t worry, the airline’s renowned Saks Fifth Avenue bedding isn’t going anywhere. In addition to the existing partnership with Saks, United is partnering with Therabody for the first time — and Polaris passengers can experience the goods both onboard and in the Polaris Lounge.

Let’s get to the details!

New Therabody Amenities

United boasts that the new Therabody (and Saks) features are the largest upgrade to the Polaris international business class experience since its inception 7 years ago.

The new Therabody offerings include a kit that features an eye serum, face spray, hand cream, and cleansing towelette, which replaces Sunday Riley amenities. In addition, gone is the popular hard-shell Away kit; a new reusable belt bag made with recycled plastic replaces it.

“International travel is booming and our customers have direct access to more places around the globe than any other airline and with these new amenities, now they’ll also have the best experience flying there,” said Andrew Nocella, United Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. “We know amenities can really elevate the overall flying experience and are confident United Polaris flyers will love the new wellness-focused offerings.”

Besides the Therabody-specific items, the kit also includes go-to amenities including a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask, ear plugs, socks, and a pen.

In addition to these new Therabody Amenities, United will refresh its Saks Fifth Avenue bedding offering. Some of the products have been redesigned with recycled plastics to continue advancing the airline’s goal of a more sustainable future.

Select passengers will get to use a limited-edition day blanket made from 100% recycled plastic and designed by fashion designer Claude Kameni. And don’t worry, the gel pillow that has become a hit with passengers will remain!

United Polaris Lounges Get “Reset Suites”

Therabody’s “Reset Suites” will open this fall at all United Polaris lounges, starting with Newark (EWR) and San Francisco (SFO), followed by Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Houston-Intercontinental (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), and Washington-Dulles (IAD).

Each semi-private room will have a Therabody Lounger, combining sound and vibration therapy for full-body relaxation. Additional amenities include Theragun and RecoveryAir boots to support circulation, lymphatic drainage, and muscle recovery as well as aid in decreased swelling and stiffness

Therabody skin and body care products are also available in the United Polaris lounge restrooms and showers.
