Tampa International Airport is the gateway to Florida’s West Coast, serving 24.5 million passengers in 2025. With Delta Air Lines and American Airlines accounting for around 17% of passenger traffic, eligible passengers can wait for flights in the comfort of airport lounges.

When accessing a lounge in a different concourse, passengers should allow extra time to reach their gate, as each airside concourse at TPA has a security checkpoint at the entrance.

American Airlines Admirals Club House Rules

A same-day boarding card is required for a flight marketed or operated by American, any Oneworld airline, or Aer Lingus (see rules for the applicable access type above). The only exception is for existing Admirals Club Lifetime Members, who may continue to access the Admirals Club with same-day travel on any airline.
Guests must have appropriate access to the required terminal or concourse; gate passes will not be issued for entry.
A government-issued photo ID, the relevant access card (e.g., AAdvantage membership card or number), and a same-day boarding card are required. Entry may be denied if the appropriate identification and credentials are not presented, and cards may be confiscated if used by anyone but the member.

Delta Sky Club House Rules

The only exception is that existing Delta Lifetime Members may continue to access the Delta Sky Club with same-day travel on any airline.
Although the minimum age for membership is 18, guests must be 21 to access a U.S. club with a self-serve bar. The only exception is if they are traveling with another member who is over 21.
Guests must have access to the required terminal or concourse, as gate passes will not be issued for entry.

Final Thoughts

Tampa International Airport doesn’t have an extensive selection of airport lounges, with only an Admirals Club and a Delta Sky Club for general passengers. Still, these lounges are spacious and offer tarmac views.
