Tampa International Airport is the gateway to Florida’s West Coast, serving over 21.5 million passengers in 2022. With Delta Air Lines and American Airlines accounting for around 17% of passenger traffic, eligible passengers can await their flights in the comfort of the airlines’ lounges.

When accessing a lounge in a different concourse, passengers must allow extra time to reach their gate, as each airside concourse at TPA has a security checkpoint at the entrance.

Best Credit Card To Access Priority Pass Restaurants

Although Priority Pass is not accepted at any lounges at TPA, eligible members receive a discount on their bill at The Café by Mise en Place, located in Concourse F. There are many different credit cards with Priority Pass, and choosing which is best for you will primarily come down to each card’s other perks.

Chase Sapphire Reserve®

Prefer a card that earns Chase Ultimate Rewards points and is a bit more well-rounded when it comes to point-earning? Then the Chase Sapphire Reserve card would be a perfect option. The Chase Sapphire Reserve card offers benefits such as 5x points on air travel and 10x points on hotels and car rentals when you purchase travel through the Chase Travel portal, 3x points on all other travel, and a $300 annual travel credit, along with many more perks.

The Chase Sapphire Reserve card does not offer access to nearly as many lounge programs as the Amex Platinum card or Amex Business Platinum card. However, it still gets you into all Priority Pass lounges and even includes a credit at Priority Pass restaurants (including TPA’s The Café by Mise en Place), whereas the Amex Platinum card and Amex Business Platinum card do not.

Final Thoughts

Tampa International Airport doesn’t have an extensive selection of airport lounges, with only an Admirals Club and Delta Sky Club for general passengers. Both of these lounges are a little tired compared to the Admirals Club at DCA and Delta Sky Club at ORD, but they are spacious and offer tarmac views.
