Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) served 15 million passengers in 2021 and is the second-busiest airport by passenger traffic in the Washington, D.C. region (second to Baltimore-Washington International Airport.)
Passengers at IAD are treated to a whopping 11 airline lounges, with 9 currently open to travelers. Eligible premium passengers have several lounges to choose from, gaining access either with the right credit card or by flying in a particular fare class.
This airport clearly caters to international travelers, as most lounges at Dulles are operated by foreign carriers, but many can be accessed with a Priority Pass membership. Only 1 “Big 3” airline — United Airlines — has a lounge network at Dulles.
note: Some airport lounges on this list may have reduced hours (or be closed entirely) due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so make sure you check the airline or lounge’s website for the most updated information.
