With Chase’s extensive list of airline and hotel partners, you have plenty of ways to redeem Ultimate Rewards points. Redeeming points with transfer partners often gives you more value than redeeming through Chase Travel. However, some transfer partners give you more value than others.

Here are some of the best ways to use your Ultimate Rewards points by leveraging the program’s best transfer partners, including Air France-KLM Flying Blue, United MileagePlus, and World of Hyatt.

1. Business Class to Europe With Promo Rewards (Air France-KLM Flying Blue): $3,000 Value

If you want to try business class to or from Europe on Air France or KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, you can do so for as few as 60,000 Flying Blue miles when saver award space is available. Even better, Air France-KLM Flying Blue runs monthly Promo Rewards that can help you get more value from your points.

Promo Rewards usually give 25% to 50% off the standard award price. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a 50% business-class Promo Reward on a flight between Europe and the U.S., but 25% off is still a great deal. Rather than needing 60,000 Flying Blue miles, you’d only need 45,000 miles.

Very often, there’s at least 1 U.S. city on the list for business-class Promo Rewards. Plus, you often see multiple premium economy and economy class flights. Economy Promo Rewards from the U.S. to Europe usually cost just 18,750 points.

Meanwhile, you can get the best deal on intra-Asia flights through Air Canada Aeroplan. These redemptions start at 8,000 Aeroplan points plus taxes and fees. With so many Asian airlines in Star Alliance, it’s easy to use these redemptions to save big on your next trip to the region.

For example, this Singapore Airlines flight from Singapore (SIN) to Jakarta (CGK) costs 8,000 points in economy or 20,000 in business class, plus $80 in taxes and fees. This same flight costs $246 or $768 for an economy or business class seat, respectively.

A favorite of many is the Park Hyatt Sydney, with its amazing views of Sydney Harbour and the Sydney Opera House. Not only do you get a fantastic view, but the rooms are phenomenal and the service is top-notch. You also have easy access to ferries that can take you across the harbor to Manly Beach and the Sydney Zoo.

The Park Hyatt Sydney is a Category 8 hotel on Hyatt’s award chart, which means it costs 40,000 World of Hyatt points during the standard calendar year (45,000 points during the peak season or 35,000 points during the off-peak season). Keep in mind that 40,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points are worth 40,000 World of Hyatt points when transferred to Hyatt.

You’re not limited to booking the Park Hyatt in Sydney. You can find this five-star brand in Chicago, New York City, Paris, and elsewhere. They are usually Category 6, 7, or 8 properties — among the most expensive Hyatt awards — but they offer luxury accommodations.
