Here’s a look at some of the benefits of the Chase Sapphire Reserve card:

Hot Tip:

Apple TV+ and Apple Music Credits: How Do They Work?

Your Chase Sapphire Reserve card includes complimentary subscriptions to both Apple TV+ (valued at $12.99 monthly) and Apple Music (valued at $10.99 per month) through June 22, 2027.

Here’s how to register for the credits (you only need to do this once):

  • First, open the Chase Mobile app on your phone and navigate to Card Benefits.
  • Next, search for the Apple TV+ and Apple Music offers and follow the prompts to link your Apple ID.
    • To find your Apple ID, go to your Apple device’s (if you have one) Settings and tap your name at the top. Your Apple ID should be displayed below your name. If this doesn’t work, you can visit appleid.apple.com or iCloud.com to see your ID on the sign-in screen. If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one at iCloud.com.
  • Once that’s taken care of, activate your complimentary subscriptions.

Note that if you have a paid Apple TV+ subscription purchased directly through Apple, it will be suspended when you enroll through Chase. If you cancel your complimentary Apple TV+ subscription through Chase, your paid Apple TV+ subscription purchased directly through Apple resumes.

Finally, this subscription doesn’t cancel out any fee you may incur with a concurrent Apple One subscription, which also includes Apple TV+ and Apple Music. Your Apple One subscription through Apple runs concurrently unless you cancel your existing subscription.

Bottom Line:

If you already have Apple One, you may want to consider pausing it (or otherwise downgrading) while taking advantage of the perk.

Are the Apple TV+ and Apple Music Credits Worth It?

Like many premium credit cards, the Chase Sapphire Reserve card has rebranded to offer travel benefits as well as perks that enhance daily life.

Apple TV+ and Apple Music are used by millions daily. Apple TV+ alone makes it worth it, offering some of the most exciting original shows, such as “Severance” and “The Morning Show,” with no ads.

Apple Music is home to a massive music catalog and lets you stream music in spatial audio, a 3D effect that creates an immersive experience.

If you’re already paying for either membership — or didn’t want memberships because you didn’t want to pay — these statement credits are a fantastic way to save money and keep you entertained at the same time.

Final Thoughts

The Chase Sapphire Reserve card offers many fantastic benefits, including elevated earnings on travel, airline lounge access, and hotel elite status, plus hundreds of dollars in value in statement credits.

One of the new benefits on the refreshed card is a complimentary Apple TV+ and Apple Music membership through June 2027. While it may not be the benefit you open the card for, it’s certainly one you’ll want to use.
