Update:

The promo fare mentioned below has expired.

JetBlue Airways has announced plans to start nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) next spring. The new route will give JetBlue loyalists nonstop connections between the 2 cities.

The carrier will also compete with the “Big 3” airlines on the trip.

“With our new route, Cleveland customers can choose what works best for them, unlocking even more access to JetBlue’s growing leisure network,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships.

Here are the details.

JetBlue Launches New NYC Route

JetBlue will start nonstop flights between New York (JFK)and Cleveland (CLE) on March 30, 2026, with tickets going on sale today, December 30, 2025.

The new route will operate once daily with the following schedule:

  • Depart New York (JFK) at 9:45 p.m. and arrive in Cleveland (CLE) at 11:55 p.m.
  • Depart Cleveland (CLE) at 6 a.m. and arrive in New York (JFK) at 7:40 a.m.

JetBlue will fly its workhorse Airbus A220 aircraft, equipped with free, unlimited Wi-Fi and seatback entertainment at every seat.

Of course, JetBlue isn’t the only airline flying nonstop between the 2 cities

American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines all fly between the New York area and Cleveland. Previously, JetBlue loyalists who wanted to fly the route had to connect in Boston (BOS), so news of a direct flight should be welcome news for travelers.

Hot Tip:

For Cleveland customers, the New York route can also be used as a one-stop connection to JetBlue’s vast network in the Caribbean and Latin America, plus the airline’s flights to Europe.

Booking JetBlue’s New JFK-CLE Route

JetBlue is celebrating the launch of its new route connecting New York and Cleveland with promo fares starting at $49 one-way.

To snag the deal, make sure to book by January 4, 2026, for travel between March 30 and May 30, 2026. Keep in mind that the promo applies only to tickets for travel on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday — not Friday or Sunday. Note the following blackout dates: April 2 through April 13, 2026.

You can also book these flights using JetBlue TrueBlue points. We’re seeing flights from 2,600 points one-way, which is an incredible deal.

Even if you don’t fly JetBlue often, TrueBlue points are some of the easiest airline currencies to earn. You can transfer points from American Express, Chase, or Citi or open a co-branded JetBlue credit card to earn from daily purchases.

Final Thoughts

JetBlue is starting nonstop service between New York-JFK and Cleveland, which is excellent news for travelers who want to earn and redeem TrueBlue points on the route. Cleveland travelers will especially benefit from the new service, as it’ll give them more one-stop options to JetBlue’s international network.
