Marriott has expanded its premium JW Marriott brand with its first opening in North Texas: the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District.

Here’s everything you need to know about this all-new property.

JW Marriott Dallas Arts District Debuts

On July 26, 2023, Marriott announced the opening of the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District.

The 22-floor hotel houses 267 guest rooms, 9 guest suites (named Museum Suites for their views of the Dallas Museum of Art), 10 meeting rooms, a 24-hour fitness center, a rooftop pool with cabanas, and 20 works of regional art.

The hotel’s 11th-floor sky lobby centerpiece acts as a museum-like space with a floating staircase and glass railing.

“We are excited to bring JW Marriott’s legacy of extraordinary hospitality, thoughtful design, and enriching experiences to the Dallas Arts District,” said Bruce Rohr, Global Brand Leader, JW Marriott.

The hotel also features 3 restaurants including Margaret’s, a ranch-to-table eatery located on the 11th floor, Vincent’s Sky Lounge, serving cocktails and bites with views of the Dallas skyline, and 800 North, a street-level cocktail lounge.

Dallas boasts the largest contiguous urban arts district in the United States, and the new JW Marriott is in the thick of the action with the Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center, Crow Museum of Asian Art, and other cultural establishments within walking distance.

How To Book

Reservations are now available, and the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District participates in the Marriott Bonvoy program.

While Marriott offers a dynamic award pricing system with variable rates, you can find award nights starting at just 20,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night for dates this summer and fall. Cash rates start at a relatively steep $475 per night, which makes using points a very attractive proposition.
