Is It Worth It?
Long considered one of the best business class products in the world, Qatar Airway’s Qsuites product includes a unique quad design that can allow you to dine with your friends, and each suite has a door that closes completely.
Qatar Airways is a favorite way among travelers to get from the U.S. to the Maldives with a stopover in Doha (DOH). After Qatar’s Privilege Club program adopted Avios as its award currency, it’s possible to book these flights for as few as 70,000 miles one way.
With this promotion, you and a loved one will be able to take this trip for just 122,500 miles — not bad!
And thanks to that move over to Avios, Qatar Airways miles are super easy to earn. This is because all Avios programs are interchangeable, including those from British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus.
That means you can transfer points from American Express Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Capital One Miles, Citi ThankYou Rewards, Bilt Rewards, and Marriott Bonvoy in order to build your balance. Note that all of these programs, with the exception of Marriott Bonvoy, transfer points over at a 1:1 ratio. Marriott Bonvoy points, meanwhile, transfer at a 3:1 ratio with a 5,000-mile bonus for every 60,000 points you transfer.

Final Thoughts
Is this the best promotion ever offered? No, but grabbing a discount on award tickets is a great deal, and the sale includes Qatar’s top-tier business class product.
If you were planning on trying the product soon, now’s the time to book. Even better, Qatar Airways Avios are extremely easy to earn thanks to their interchangeability with other Avios programs.
