St. Regis La Bahia Blanca Resort, Tamuda Bay
On November 6, 2023, the newest Marriott property, the St. Regis La Bahia Blanca Resort in Morocco opened its doors to guests. The 100-key property, built as a private riad with intimate courtyards and lush gardens, is the St. Regis brand’s debut in Morocco.
The luxury resort, located in the country’s north, offers several dining options including Baie Blanche Brasserie, a contemporary French brasserie with Moroccan influences; Bahia Vista Beach Bar & Grill, an elegant beachside grill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea; and the iconic St. Regis Bar. At sunset, the nightly St. Regis champagne-sabering ritual takes place in the Grand Hall Garden, celebrating the transition from day to night.
All hotel guests have access to St. Regis’s signature butler service, a feature of the brand for more than a century.
“The debut of The St. Regis La Bahia Blanca Resort, Tamuda Bay marks a significant milestone for the St. Regis brand as we grow our footprint on the African continent and celebrate our first property in Morocco,” said Helen Leighton, Vice President of Luxury Brands, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Marriott International. “We are proud to open our doors in the captivating Tamuda Bay, known for its natural beauty, pristine golden beaches, and rich history.”
