Connecting Between Terminals for Lounge Access

Connecting between terminals at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is simple as using the Plane Train. It operates inside the secure area, stopping at every concourse and terminal.

Passengers arriving on a domestic flight can easily travel to another concourse to access a lounge before an onward connection.

This won’t be necessary for passengers traveling on Delta Air Lines as it has a Delta Sky Club in every concourse, but it may be necessary for eligible passengers traveling on partner airlines or passengers flying American Airlines or United.

Hot Tip: Need help getting around the airport? Read our article on how to get between terminals at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Final Thoughts

As a main hub for the airline, Delta dominates the lounge arena at ATL, which is handy for Delta passengers or passengers on eligible Delta partner flights.

Being able to use a lounge in your terminal or concourse can save time navigating the airport and allow more time to relax before your flight.

Unfortunately, recent changes to Delta Sky Club and Admirals Club memberships mean that passengers must hold a same-day boarding card for an eligible partner airline to gain access to the lounge. Existing lifetime members (no longer available for new registrations) may still access the lounges when traveling on any airline.
