JetBlue recently released its financial results for the third quarter of 2024, which were better than expected.

The airline’s presentation also included an update regarding how it will sell customers its Even More Space seats going forward.

Let’s take a look at what’s changing.

JetBlue Rebranding Even More Space Seating

Even More Space seats come with extra legroom, early boarding, and priority security. Even though you’re paying a premium for these seats, you’re still treated as an economy class passenger, much like you’d find with United Economy Plus bookings.

In its press release, JetBlue noted that from mid-November the ability to purchase Even More Space seating will be presented on the fare page, not just the seat map. However, it looks like the feature is already live.

Starting in 2025, Even More Space is going to be rebranded to EvenMore. It’s not clear what new amenities you’ll receive with an EvenMore fare, though the airline teased the following:

“As we move into 2025, JetBlue will rebrand the offering EvenMore to include new benefits and amenities with the existing extra legroom seat, creating an appealing offering for customers considering buying up for more space and perks. JetBlue plans to announce the new amenities early next year prior to the launch.”

Our guess is that the new EvenMore product is going to be more similar to Alaska’s Premium Class or Delta’s Comfort+, both of which offer free alcohol. The introduction of EvenMore also largely puts to rest rumors that were swirling that said that JetBlue would add a first class product on aircraft that aren’t equipped with its lauded Mint seating.

It’s worth noting that JetBlue got rid of hot meals for economy class passengers on its transatlantic flights, so maybe, just maybe, EvenMore travelers will get them back.

EvenMore or Mosaic Status?

It remains to be seen what value travelers with JetBlue’s Mosaic status will get out of the rebranded EvenMore fare. As it stands, even those with Mosaic 1 status get to pick Even More Space seats for free at check-in, while those with Mosaic 2 and above can select them during booking.

All Mosaic elite members get 3 free drinks on their flights too, so if JetBlue is wrapping that into the EvenMore bundle, the only remaining benefit for Mosaic members remains the extra legroom.

Final Thoughts

JetBlue has announced a few changes with their Even More Space seats, including the option to select them as a fare. Plus, starting in 2025, Even More Space will be branded as EvenMore, with the promise of more benefits and amenities for travelers. What these will be isn’t clear, though as we get closer to EvenMore’s launch, we’ll be sure to update you with all the details.
