Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

JetBlue is running a flash sale for flights for as little as $39 or 4,000 points, depending on how you book and which route you’re flying. However, this sale is only available through October 31, 2024.

Let’s look at this deal and how to book it before it’s gone.

JetBlue’s ‘Win at Winter’ Sale

JetBlue is offering a limited-time sale — dubbed the “Win at Winter” sale — during which travelers can get discounted flights when paying cash or points.

You must book by 11:59 p.m. ET on October 31 for travel between November 2, 2024, and February 12, 2025.

Here’s a sample, nonstop fare from New York (JFK) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) for just $38.11 after taxes — assuming you’ll accept the restrictions flying in Blue Basic:

Alternatively, you can pay for flights using JetBlue TrueBlue points. That same flight is available for just 4,000 points:

Here are some other one-way city pairs that are available from $49:

  • Boston (BOS) to New York (JFK)
  • New York City (JFK) to Miami (MIA)
  • New York City (JFK) to Savannah (SAV)

Here are some one-way city pairs that are available from $59+:

  • New York City (JFK) to Aruba (AUA) from $119
  • New York City (JFK) to Belize City (BZE) from $99
  • New York City (JFK) to Chicago (ORD), Raleigh (RDU), or Tampa (TPA) from $59
  • New York City (JFK) to New Orleans (MSY) from $64

The discount applies to the base fare and is valid on nonstop flights only. The cheapest prices apply to Blue Basic (if not available, the cheapest price will be Blue fares). The offer is not valid on previous bookings, and blackout dates apply. Friday and Sunday travel is excluded, and you must book on jetblue.com.

Best Ways To Book

To take advantage of the savings, book before the end of the day on October 31, 2024.

If you’re paying cash for these tickets, we recommend paying with a card that rewards you for travel purchases. Here are a few of our favorite cards for JetBlue flyers — all of which offer big welcome bonuses and elevated earnings on flights:

Alternatively, you can book using TrueBlue points, though check the math to see what value you’re getting. We value JetBlue points at 1.3 cents apiece, so work to get around that value if you’re paying points for your flight.

If you have Chase Ultimate Rewards points, you can do even better, using points at up to 1.5 cents apiece during this sale in the Chase Travel portal, depending on which card you have:

Here’s a look at some of the best ways to earn JetBlue TrueBlue points.

Final Thoughts

JetBlue runs these types of promotions fairly often, but it’s always exciting when a new offer debuts.

You can snag ultra-cheap flights with JetBlue, paying as little as $38.11, though numerous other flights are available for under $60. If you’re interested in taking advantage of this sale, you’ll want to book by October 31, as these fares will disappear soon after.
