You can also book travel through the Wells Fargo Rewards portal, including flights, hotels, vacation packages, cruises, and attractions. However, the value is fixed and will get you 1 cent per point.

In our opinion, the absolute best way to redeem Wells Fargo Rewards points is booking award travel with transfer partners. While there’s no set value here, it’s possible to get anywhere from 1 to 10 cents per point of value.

While 2,500 points aren’t enough for a business class flight, you could redeem 2,500 points for:

With those 9,000 points, you can redeem for one-way flights on American Airlines and Alaska Airlines that are 651 to 1,151 miles in flight distance. It’s possible to book premium cabin flights with as few as 20,000 Wells Fargo Rewards points. Remember our handy transfer partner, British Airways Executive Club? You can redeem 16,500 Avios for a one-way business class ticket for American and Alaska flights that are 651 to 1,151 miles in length.

Let’s look at a real-world example here. We found an American Airlines flight from Philadelphia (PHL) to Miami (MIA) in first class that costs $700 one-way. If you can find saver availability, you can book flights from many U.S. cities to Paris or Amsterdam from 20,000 Flying Blue miles. Tack on another European city to the itinerary (like Rome or Barcelona), and you can book a one-way flight with a quick layover for under 30,000 miles.

Once you’ve earned such a large sum of points, you’ll get terrific value by transferring points to airline partners for international business class travel.

There are several ways to book international business class travel for under 60,000 Wells Fargo points. You could transfer 50,000 to 55,000 points to Air France-KLM Flying Blue and book a one-way business class flight to Europe, which routinely sells for $5,000 or more.

Likewise, Avianca LifeMiles has a sweet spot on one-way TAP Air Portugal flights between New York (JFK) and Lisbon (LIS). It’s possible to book this business class ticket for just 35,000 miles and $27.80 in taxes and fees.

However, when booking hotels, flights, car rentals, cruises, vacation packages, and attractions through the Wells Fargo Rewards portal, you’ll only get 1 cent per point of value.

Wells Fargo Rewards points are worth 1 cent each for cash rewards. You can redeem rewards to your Wells Fargo account, redeem for purchases on your statement credit, and more.

Depending on the redemption method, there may be a minimum requirement to get cash rewards. For instance, you’ll need at least 2,500 points to get $25 in the form of a check. And, if you’re getting cash from a Wells Fargo ATM with an eligible Wells Fargo checking account, you can only get cash rewards in $20 increments.
