Frequently Asked Questions

What is Admirals Club membership?

Admirals Club is American Airlines’ network of airport lounges. With an Admirals Club membership, individuals have access to over 50 Admirals Club lounges and 60 partner lounges worldwide. These lounges provide a space to relax instead of waiting at your gate, as well as light food/drink and free Wi-Fi. Access is granted based on membership, elite status, cardholder status, or specific ticketed class of service.

How much does it cost to join Admirals Club?

Membership pricing depends on a couple of factors: your membership type, whether or not you want an individual or household membership, and whether you are purchasing it new or renewing. The price ranges from $7 for a 1-year Executive Platinum member individual membership to $850 for a 1-year standard AAdvantage member individual membership.

Household memberships can cost upwards of $1,650. See our full membership pricing chart in this article.

How much is a one-day pass to Admirals Club?

A One-Day Pass to the Admirals Club may be purchased for $79. This fee may then be applied towards the purchase of an annual membership if done so within 30 days. Day passes are available at selected lounges.

What is the Admirals Club guest policy?

Admirals Club terms of service state: “Membership includes access by either immediate family members (spouse or domestic partner and children under eighteen (18) years of age) or up to two (2) guests. Access by immediate family members or guests applies only when such individuals accompany the Member.” This is, of course, subject to capacity restrictions.
