Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is one of the fastest-growing airports in the United States, with annual passenger traffic of around 21 million. However, it may come as a surprise that AUS only has 3 full-fledged lounges (with 1 more operating as a seasonal, temporary space) for eligible passengers. There are no Priority Pass lounges on offer, either.

Final Thoughts

Austin’s growing population in recent years means there is strong demand for air travel, and passenger numbers could reach 30 million as soon as 2025 (currently at 21 million). Although the airport’s current expansion project is set to alleviate congestion operationally at security and baggage claim, there aren’t concrete plans for other lounges just yet.
