Like many airline loyalty programs, Etihad Guest miles can be redeemed for awards. Tier Miles and Tier Segments, on the other hand, determine your elite status based on the following earning rate:

Members begin at the Etihad Guest tier and move through the premium tiers (Silver, Gold, and Platinum) during a 12-month rolling qualification period. Each premium tier provides bonus miles that can be redeemed for Etihad Rewards.
|Elite Status Tier||Tier Miles/Segments to Achieve Status||Mile Expiration|
