Do you need to be in India sometime before October 31, 2024? If so, you’re in luck, because JetBlue has dropped the pricing for select routes from the U.S. to India for the next month. These deals are 44% off regular pricing and are pretty widespread — at least until November.

Let’s take a look.

Award Alert — Details

These awards are available through JetBlue and operated by Etihad. Standard pricing is 84,900 points, while sale pricing is just 39,900 points. First flagged by View From the Wing, getting 44% off a redemption flight is pretty great.

Although you’ll be in economy, this deal might just be worth the squeeze.

  • Class: Economy
  • Routes: Boston (BOS), New York (JFK), Washington, D.C. (IAD), Chicago (ORD) to 11 different airport in India (AMD, BOM, JAI, DEL, HYD, CCJ, BLR, COK, TRV, MAA, CCU)
  • Dates: October 2024
  • Rates: As low as 39,000 points one-way

Note that although this deal has a layover in Abu Dhabi (AUH), direct flights aren’t included. You must continue on to India. To find routes and dates for this deal, head to JetBlue’s website. JetBlue’s calendar view shows that there’s excellent availability for these routes.

Note that there are multiple flights per day eligible for this sale, though it’s only applicable to economy class awards via JetBlue TrueBlue.

Best Ways To Book

You’ll be using your JetBlue TrueBlue points to book your flight. These are quite easy to earn, thanks to partnerships with 3 different flexible point currencies:

Obviously, if you have Capital One miles or Chase points, you’re better off transferring those, rather than Amex points, due to their favorable transfer ratios.

Although you’ll be redeeming points for your flight, ensure you’re paying the taxes and fees with a card with good travel insurance. The Chase Sapphire Reserve® is our recommendation, thanks to its coverage for trip delay, trip cancellation, and baggage insurance.

Final Thoughts

This fare sale isn’t going to be a hit with everyone, but it’s super rare that we see deals on flights to India. If you’re planning travel to India and don’t mind flying economy, jump on this deal before it evaporates!
