OGG Airport Terminals

OGG’s main terminal is on the northeast side of the airport. All presecurity services and facilities are on 1 level, with baggage claim located at the north end and ticketing at the south end.

A separate commuter terminal is situated at the northernmost point of the ring road, operating flights for Mokulele Express, while all other airlines operate from the main terminal.

Main Terminal

Level 1 Check-in

Level 1 has a covered, open-sided check-in area just off the terminal roadway. Curbside drop-off and pickup are available close to check-in. Passengers flying to the continental U.S. must clear an agriculture inspection before proceeding to the check-in counters.

The tram stop for access to the rental car center and the terminal parking lots are directly opposite the terminal. Passengers can walk across the pedestrian crossings to access these services.

Level 2: Gates 1 to 15

Once passengers have checked in, they can proceed to the security checkpoint up the escalators at the northern end of check-in.

After security, there’s a central concourse area with restaurants and shops. To the right are 8 gates numbered 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15. There are only 2 restaurants down this gate area, with more options in the central area.

Level 2: Gates 17 to 39

To the left of the central area, there are 12 gates numbered 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, and 39. There are a few shops and restaurants and a Premier Club Lounge opposite gate 17.

Commuter Terminal

The commuter terminal is approximately 500 feet from the main terminal, serving interisland flights for Mokulele Airlines and Makani Kai Air. Apart from restrooms, this small terminal has very few facilities, so passengers can visit the Starbucks in the main terminal for a bite to eat before passing through security.

Dedicated short- and long-term parking is available outside the commuter terminal. Passengers can walk between the 2 terminals via the outdoor pedestrian walkways.

Transportation Between Terminals

Walking

OGG is not a huge airport, and there are no buses or automated people movers to get around. Once inside the secure area of the main terminal, passengers can walk between all gates.

From the central area of the concourse, it’s a 6- to 10-minute walk to the furthest gates. There are no moving walkways, so any passengers with mobility issues should speak to their airline for assistance.

It takes a couple of minutes to walk to the commuter terminal from the baggage claim end of the main terminal.
