BNA Airport Terminals

Nashville International Airport map
Nashville International Airport map. Image Credit: Nashville International Airport

Nashville International Airport has 1 central terminal with 4 departure concourses. There are 2 concourses at the south end of the terminal and another 2 at the north end. The T gates sit inside the BNA Marketplace, straight ahead as soon as you exit the security checkpoint.

Terminal Drive directs one-way traffic around the front of the terminal building, looping back around the terminal garages and rental car facility. Arrivals and departures are on different levels of the terminal, with vehicle access from Terminal Drive on both levels.

Terminal parking is a short walk from the terminal, with 2 terminal garages for covered parking. Surface parking lot A is also accessible by foot from the terminal, just beyond the consolidated rental car facility.

Main Terminal

Level 1: International Arrivals and Ground Transportation

Nashville International Airport Terminal Level 1

Level 1 has international arrivals and access to the rental car counters once passengers have cleared customs.

Level 2: Domestic Arrivals

Nashville International Airport Terminal Level 2

The arrivals area on level 2 has baggage claim for domestic arrivals. There are also information counters that can provide assistance with hotels, onward transportation, and general information about exploring Nashville. Curbside access is available on this level for passenger pickup.

Level 3: Departures

Nashville International Airport Terminal Level 3
Nashville International Airport Terminal Level 3. Image Credit: Nashville International Airport

Level 3 has curbside access for passenger drop-off, leading to the airline ticketing desks. There is only 1 cafe outside the secure area, so bear this in mind should you arrive too early to check in for your flight. There are pet relief areas outside either end of the terminal.

There is one café, Green Beans Coffee Co., a convenience shop, Tennessee Tribune, and a flower shop located presecurity for travelers who arrive early to check in or for those waiting to meet someone. Pet relief areas are available outside at both ends of the terminal. The TSA security checkpoint is in the Grand Lobby.

Concourse A

Nashville International Airport Concourse A

Concourse A is currently closed, as it is being demolished and reconstructed as part of the New Horizon program. When it reopens July 11, 2028, it will be BNA’s largest concourse, with 16 gates, new concessions, and indoor and outdoor waiting areas.

Concourse B

Nashville International Airport Concourse B
Nashville International Airport Concourse B. Image Credit: Nashville International Airport

Concourse B has 11 gates, numbered B1 and B3 to B11, with Delta Air Lines and United Airlines operating flights from here. There are a few shops and restaurants along the concourse and a children’s play area toward the far end. More shops and restaurants are near the entrance.

Concourse C

Nashville International Airport Concourse C
Nashville International Airport Concourse C. Image Credit: Nashville International Airport

Concourse C is at the south end of the terminal and is the largest concourse, with 18 gates, numbered C1 to C3 and C13 to C27.

There are several shops and restaurants and an Admirals Club up the staircase near gate C15.

Concourse C: Satellite Concourse

Nashville International Airport Concourse C Satellite Terminal
Nashville International Airport Concourse C Satellite Terminal. Image Credit: Nashville International Airport

The Satellite Concourse serves as an extension of Concourse C, with gates C4 to C11 reached by taking the shuttle bus from the main terminal near gate C2. Within the concourse, travelers will find a single gift and retail shop, one food‑and‑beverage establishment, and a dedicated coffee shop, as well as a pet relief area.

Concourse D

Nashville International Airport Concourse D
Nashville International Airport Concourse D. Image Credit: Nashville International Airport

Concourse D is at the south end of the terminal and is used solely by Southwest Airlines. There are 11 gates, numbered, D1 to D11. There are plenty of restaurants and shops and a moving walkway to assist passengers from one end of the concourse to the other. The concourse also has a Minute Suites and an outdoor terrace.

T Gates

Nashville International Airport T Gates
Nashville International Airport T Gates. Image Credit: Nashville International Airport

The T gates are just after the security checkpoint and are used by airlines, including Aer Lingus, Icelandair, Air Canada, British Airways, and WestJet. Passengers departing from gates T1 to T6 also have access to a wide variety of shops and restaurants nearby. Note that gate T6 is in the B Concourse.

Interterminal Transport

All areas of the terminal and concourses are accessible on foot, so there are no buses or trains to connect between gates. The only exception is Concourse C, where you must ride a shuttle bus to the Satellite Concourse for gates C4 to C11.

After clearing the security checkpoint, you can walk freely among all concourses unless you are arriving on an international flight that requires luggage to be collected to clear customs.

If you park in economy lots B or C, you need to ride a shuttle bus to and from the terminal. Passengers can track shuttle bus arrivals here.
