The Amex Business Platinum Card: How To Use the $360 Indeed Credit [2026]

When you’re running a business, one of the most crucial pillars of that is ensuring you have the best talent possible. With The Business Platinum Card^® from American Express, the top Amex business credit card, you’ll get some terrific benefits, especially with your staffing needs.

Currently, the Amex Business Platinum card has a hefty $895 (rates & fees), but it’s got an enormous list of useful benefits that can make the card totally worth it.

For example, one of the most useful benefits is the Indeed credit, which can deliver more value than half of the Amex Business Platinum card’s annual fee.

The Indeed credit is designed to help you address your recruiting needs as a company, and it’s one of the easier benefits to use.

In this guide, we’re going to explore all the ins and outs of this benefit and see how you can use it to your advantage.

How Does the Amex $360 Indeed Credit Work?

In total, you’re eligible to receive up to $360 in statement credits using the Amex Business Platinum card’s Indeed benefit.

Currently, the best way to use this credit is to find high-quality applicants for jobs or roles that your company needs to fill. This usually comes in the form of sponsored jobs.

With the Indeed benefit from the Amex Business Platinum card, you’ll get up to $90 per quarter in statement credits, which totals $360 per year. Each quarter is defined as:

• January to March
• April to June
• July to September
• October to December

Similar to other advertising platforms, you can control and throttle your daily budget when posting sponsored jobs. Your daily budget is based on a “pay-per-click” model, so you’ll get charged based on the cost per application.

The exact price is dictated by the local labor market, job title, location, and other factors.

Another neat feature about Indeed is that you can reject unwanted candidates within 48 hours before you’re charged for full transparency. Lastly, you agree to an up-front price, and there are no contracts required.

Bottom Line: Indeed’s industry-leading tools and software connect you with over 225 million active job seekers on their platform. With this perk, you can hire quickly, effectively, and intelligently.

How To Enroll For the Indeed Credit

First, you’ll need to enroll your card by following these steps:

1. Log into your Amex online account.
2. On the top menu, click Rewards & Benefits.
3. Click Benefits on the right-hand side of the blue ribbon near the top of the page.
4. Find the box that says Business Platinum Indeed Benefit and click Get Started. The box will look like this:

Eligible Purchases That Qualify For the $360 Credit

Remember that only purchases made using your Amex Business Platinum card after successful enrollment will qualify, and these purchases must be made directly with Indeed.

Purchases made with other employment websites like ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, or Glassdoor wouldn’t qualify.

After your eligible purchase is made, you can expect to see a statement credit of up to $90 per quarter posted to your account within 6 to 8 weeks after your purchase is made.

If the statement credit hasn’t been posted after 8 weeks, you can call the number on the back of your card to inquire about the status of the statement credit.

Hot Tip: Although you only get up to $360 in Indeed credits per year, eligible purchases made on employee cards can count towards the Indeed credit.

There’s a dedicated landing page on Indeed’s site outlining the partnership in detail.

The process for using the benefit is simple: just enroll in the benefit when logging into your online Amex account and then use your Amex Business Platinum card to pay for Indeed.com purchases where Indeed is the merchant of record. After that, your statement credit should post in 6 to 8 weeks.
