While Singapore Airlines might not be the first airline you think of when earning miles and points, maybe it should be. Singapore Air partners with all four transferable points programs (Amex, Chase, Citi, Marriott) so earning KrisFlyer miles is a breeze.

Beyond credit cards, there are plenty of other ways to earn Singapore miles fast to help you top off your account. Let’s dig into some of the fastest ways to earn Singapore KrisFlyer miles so you can get busy booking your next award flight.

Earn KrisFlyer Miles With Credit Cards

Without a doubt, using credit cards that earn points you can transfer to your KrisFlyer account is the quickest and easiest way to earn tons of Singapore miles.

1. Chase Ultimate Rewards

Chase is a KrisFlyer partner, which means you can earn reward points (fast) with your Chase Ultimate Rewards credit cards and transfer them to KrisFlyer miles.

Get 1,000 KrisFlyer miles for every 1,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points you transfer (in increments of 1,000). According to the KrisFlyer site, this process can take anywhere from 1-8 weeks.

The great thing about Chase Ultimate Rewards is that you can combine points from multiple cards.

Here are the Chase credit cards that we recommend you use to earn points that are transferable to the KrisFlyer program:

Recommended Chase Cards (Personal)

Recommended Chase Cards (Business)

Not only can you earn reward points from everyday spending, but each card has its own sign-up bonus to get you quickly on your way to a travel reward.

Chase points are so easy to earn and that’s why we love them!

2. American Express Membership Rewards

Don’t have Ultimate Rewards points to transfer, or just want to add even more reward points to your KrisFlyer account? American Express Membership Rewards is also a transfer partner!

Rack up Membership Rewards points with the following American Express credit cards and move them over to KrisFlyer at a 1:1 ratio. It takes approximately 1-2 days for the transfer to occur.

Recommended Amex Cards (Personal)

Recommended Amex Cards (Business)

Just like the Chase cards, you can earn a welcome bonus for most Amex cards, and their annual fees will vary.

3. Citi ThankYou Rewards

Transfer Citi ThankYou Rewards points to KrisFlyer miles at a 1:1 ratio.

Do you have a Citi ThankYou Rewards account? If not, you might want to open one. Earn ThankYou Points by using these 5 credit cards, and then transfer those reward points to the Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer program.

Every 1,000 ThankYou Points equals 1,000 KrisFlyer miles!

5. Capital One Miles

Capital One miles now transfer to KrisFlyer at a 2:1 ratio. Instead of redeeming your Capital One miles in the Capital One Travel Portal for cash tickets, you now have the option to transfer them to your KrisFlyer account.

Using KrisFlyer miles can potentially save a ton of miles when looking to book first or business class tickets by using the KrisFlyer award chart compared to 1 cent per point of the cash ticket price using the Capital One Travel Portal.

Make sure you have a Capital One card that has the transferable miles feature. Here are our picks:

9. Earn Miles with JetBlue Flights

JetBlue might not be a Star Alliance partner, but Singapore Airlines has an individual partnership with them that allows you to earn Singapore KrisFlyer miles on all JetBlue flights.

The miles you earn will be dependent upon the fare class into which you have booked your ticket. All paid business class tickets – sometimes known as Mint Class on JetBlue – will earn redeemable miles at a 125% rate. This means that you will earn 125% of the flight miles as redeemable miles, so a flight of 500 miles will earn you 625 KrisFlyer miles.

Economy tickets earn either 50% or 100% of your flight miles depending on the fare class of your ticket.

10. Scoot

The newest Singapore Airlines partner airline is Scoot. You can pay for Scoot flights with KrisFlyer miles and earn KrisFlyer miles when you purchase a Scoot PlusPerks bundle.

In addition to KrisFlyer miles, PlusPerks fares includes seat selection on specific rows, priority boarding, and a flight change waiver.

11. Book Car Rentals

Choose from several car rental partners to earn up to 500 KrisFlyer miles per rental. Be sure to give your Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer membership number when making your reservation to ensure the miles are applied.
