Choice Privileges Offering Double Your Extras Benefits

Choice Hotels may not be the first chain you think of when you want to book a stay, but its Choice Privileges program offers decent value, and its award redemptions can be a downright steal.

Now, a new promotion from Choice’s loyalty program allows you to earn double “Your Extras” rewards on eligible stays through the end of this year. Let’s take a look at the details.

Offer Details

For those who aren’t familiar with the program, Your Extras awards little bonuses on top of your rewards earned when you stay paid nights at a Choice property during the week. This includes stays from Sunday through Thursday and excludes Friday and Saturday.

For every paid stay you complete, whether it’s 1 night or 5, you’re able to get a Your Extras reward. These extra bonuses aren’t much, but they’re certainly usable and include:

• A $2.50 Amazon.com credit
• A $5 Starbucks card
• A $3 Uber trip discount
• 400 Choice Privileges points
• 100 airline miles

Choice Privileges partners with Alaska Airlines, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines, Aeromexico, Qantas, and Virgin Australia, but considering the airline mile bonus is so small, it’s probably best to consider a different award.

Under this promotion, you can earn double the Your Extras rewards on eligible stays. Here are the details you need to be aware of:

• The promotion runs now through December 31, 2024.
• The promotion is valid at Cambria, Ascend Collection, Radisson, Radisson RED, or Radisson BLU hotels.
• Stays must be paid; award nights are ineligible.

Note that not all of Choice’s hotel brands qualify for the promotion, only the higher-end ones.

Although it’s a nice extra bonus to earn, doubling the already small awards isn’t going to make a huge difference — getting an extra $2.50 at Amazon won’t (and shouldn’t) make you pick a Choice Hotels property if you were planning on staying elsewhere or otherwise don’t have a relationship with the chain.

However, if you have paid stays coming up with Choice or it’s your preferred chain, you should definitely take advantage of this.
