Drop everything because one of our favorite deals in the Maldives is back! Have you wanted to visit but don’t have enough points? Are you worried that the cost of food and drinks will wring you dry?

Travelzoo has you covered here with an all-inclusive stay in an overwater bungalow at the adults-only resort, You and Me Maldives.

Book Your Dream Trip to the Maldives From $2,699

We get that nobody wants to pay for a vacation, especially when you can use points and miles for your stay. But the Maldives is one of those special destinations that warrants forking over some cash, especially when it means you’re spending so little for a week in an overwater villa.

In this example, you’d spend 7 nights at You & Me Maldives in an overwater villa with meals and drinks included. Even better, lunch at the resort’s underwater restaurant is included, as is a free massage for 2 people, and a sunset dolphin cruise.

We had the pleasure of staying at You & Me Maldives during its previous promotion on Travelzoo. It was an incredible experience and well worth the cost. Though the price has increased since then, this is still a great deal.

To book, you’ll want to head to the deal’s promotion page.

Why Is This Such a Big Deal?

We’ve been posting about the Maldives for a while now, especially since it tops many travelers’ bucket lists. However, even when redeeming your points for a trip to the Maldives, you spend quite a bit on your stay. This is because you normally need to account for the costs of food and drinks.

As an example, it’ll cost you 480,000 Hilton points for a 5-night stay at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island (with the fifth night free for elite members). This can score you either a beach villa or an overwater villa.

We value Hilton points at 0.5 cents each, which means you’ll be redeeming $2,400 worth of points for your stay. However, that just gets you the room — and nothing else.

Instead, you can choose to pay $2,699 upfront with this deal. You’ll be able to save your Hilton points for a better redemption, plus your drinks and meals will be included. You’ll also be able to earn rewards with a credit card you use to purchase the voucher.

Of course, you’ll also need to travel to the Maldives from the U.S., the cost of which you can hopefully offset with your points and miles.

Hot Tip:

When paying cash for travel rather than using points, we recommend using a travel rewards credit card for these purchases. For example, using the Chase Sapphire Reserve® to book your travel package would earn 3x points per $1 spent.

Final Thoughts

The Maldives is an incredible destination, which is one reason it’s so popular with points and miles travelers.

However, there is a time and a place to use those miles — and this isn’t one of them. Instead, take advantage of this pricing to score 7 nights in an overwater bungalow in the Maldives at an all-inclusive resort for just $2,699. It doesn’t get much better than that!
