LaGuardia is the busiest U.S. airport without a direct flight to Europe, serving over 15 million passengers annually before the pandemic. The airport’s 1,500-mile maximum flight radius means that there are no long-haul international airlines based at LGA, and therefore, not a huge variety of lounges.

Eligible passengers may use the 5 airline lounges, while applicable credit card holders can access the Centurion Lounge when flying with any airline.

Connecting Between Terminals for Lounge Access

Each terminal at LGA has a central security checkpoint, allowing passengers to move between the individual concourses without needing to re-clear security. Passengers can walk through the airside connectors to access a lounge in a different concourse, providing it’s within the same terminal.

None of the terminals are connected at LaGuardia. For example, if you’re departing from Terminal C, but are looking to visit the Centurion Lounge in Terminal B, you would need to ride the terminal access bus in between terminals.

    Hot Tip:

If you’re headed to LGA soon, check out our helpful guide on how to get between terminals at LaGuardia Airport.

Best Credit Cards To Access Priority Pass Lounges

There are many different credit cards with Priority Pass, and choosing which is best for you will largely come down to each card’s other perks. Although there are no Priority Pass lounges at LaGuardia Airport, eligible Amex Platinum cardholders and Amex Business Platinum cardholders can access use the Be Relax Spa or visit the Chase Sapphire Lounge (using their one visit per year).

    Amex Platinum Card

Perhaps the absolute best card for airport lounge access, including Priority Pass (upon enrollment), is the Amex Platinum card. In addition to Priority Pass lounges, the Amex Platinum card gets in you into Amex Centurion Lounges, Plaza Premium Lounges, 10 visits to a Delta Sky Club (when flying Delta the same day) with the ability to unlock unlimited visits through spend, and a handful of other lounge programs.

The benefits of the Amex Platinum card don’t stop there, the card earns 5x Membership Reward points on airfare purchased directly with the airline (on up to $500,000 per calendar year), offers an airline incidental credit of up to $200 (enrollment required), up to $200 in Uber Cash (enrollment required), and many more benefits.
