LaGuardia is the busiest U.S. airport without a direct flight to Europe, serving over 15 million passengers annually before the pandemic. The airport’s 1,500-mile maximum flight radius means that there are no long-haul international airlines based at LGA, and therefore, not a huge variety of lounges.

Eligible passengers may use the 5 airline lounges, while applicable credit card holders can access the Centurion Lounge when flying with any airline.

Connecting Between Terminals for Lounge Access

Each terminal at LGA has a central security checkpoint, allowing passengers to move between the individual concourses without needing to reclear security. Passengers can walk through the airside connectors to access a lounge in a different concourse, providing it’s within the same terminal.

None of the terminals are connected at LaGuardia. For example, if you’re departing from Terminal C, but are looking to visit the Centurion Lounge in Terminal B, you would need to ride the terminal access bus in between terminals.

Hot Tip:

If you’re headed to LGA soon, check out our helpful guide on how to get between terminals at LaGuardia Airport.

Best Credit Cards To Access Priority Pass Lounges

There are many different credit cards with Priority Pass, and choosing which is best for you will largely come down to each card’s other perks. Although there are no Priority Pass lounges at LaGuardia Airport, eligible Amex Platinum cardholders and Amex Business Platinum cardholders can access Minute Suites Express in Terminal B for a 1-hour stay.

Amex Platinum Card

Perhaps the absolute best credit card for airport lounge access, including Priority Pass, is the Amex Platinum card. In addition to Priority Pass lounges, the Amex Platinum card gets in you into Amex Centurion Lounges, Plaza Premium Lounges, Delta Sky Clubs (when flying Delta), and a handful of other lounge programs.

The benefits of the Amex Platinum card don’t stop there, the card earns 5x Membership Reward points on airfare purchased directly with the airline, offers an airline incidental credit of up to $200, up to $200 in Uber Cash, and many more benefits.

Final Thoughts

Following the redevelopment of Terminal C, LaGuardia is now home to the largest Delta Sky Club in the airline’s network. Considering that Delta operates around a 40% share of passenger traffic, this is great news for those seeking a stylish and spacious lounge to relax in.

In addition to the new Delta Sky Club, Delta SkyMiles Reserve cardholders have the option of visiting the Centurion Lounge in Terminal B. Passengers flying with American Airlines or United Airlines without the right lounge credentials, have the opportunity to purchase a day pass at the respective Admirals Club or United Club.
