Obviously a very thorough discussion. I was hoping to read that they really do save you money and are reliable, but it looks like the booking fees kill off that idea. Thanks for the analysis.

Yes, it’s unfortunate that they charge fees. While they sometimes still can offer a competitive price, more often than not, the fees can make them more expensive than many other sites.

I have found their international fares lower than going through the regular airlines, but then one has to deal with all those extra fees as you go along. The site can become confusing. I was attempting to choose seats and it changed the status of the seat after selection and made it more expensive. Tried over and over again with the same change results. Go figure. Not sure just what I am going to do at this point.
