Choice Hotels often go overlooked in the points and miles world, with popular chains like Hyatt, Marriott, IHG, and Hilton getting most of the limelight. But, Choice is actually one of the largest hotel chains in the world with over 7,000 locations across the globe.

While its focus is mostly on budget brands, Choice has 2 upscale brands: Cambria and Ascend. Today, we’re going to focus on Cambria, and specifically, we’ll look at the 10 best Cambria Hotels to book with points for maximum value.

To create this list, we used the following guidelines:

  • Choice Privileges points are worth ~0.6 cents each, so we only included locations where the points value exceeds this average.
  • Google Travel was used to determine peak travel dates for each location.
  • Cash rates listed are averages based on the cost of a weekend night during the peak travel season for each destination.
  • The cents per point value was determined using the average cash cost and average points cost of a room over a 2-month period.

Hotel room costs can vary from day to day, so these numbers are just an example of what you could expect when traveling during a peak season for your destination. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the cash and points costs of your hotel before booking so you know when you’re getting a good deal.

Everything You Need To Know about Cambria Hotels

Previously branded as both Cambria Hotels and Suites and Cambria Suites, Cambria Hotels has been around since 2005. Along with the Ascend Hotel Collection, Cambria Hotels is one of the upscale chains within the Choice Hotel family of brands.

Bottom Line: Cambria Hotels is an upscale brand within the Choice Hotels program. You can earn and use Choice Privileges points at all 60+ Cambria locations across the U.S.
